Our first proposal is a pleasant round trip to Santa Maria de Eunate.
The Church of Santa Maria de Eunate constitutes one of the most beautiful landmarks of the entire Camino de Santiago, an authentic icon made art of the Camino. It is located just 3 kilometers from our Albergue, in an open and clear place that helps to further enhance its beauty and spirituality. It is an octagonal church, built in the 12th century and its main characteristic, which most attracts attention, is the existence of an exterior cloister around it, also octagonal in shape. Without a doubt, Santa María de Eunate It is one of the most significant monuments.

- From the Plaza Consistorial de Enériz, we head, through Campanario Street, to the point where it is located the Monument to the Camino de Santiago and from here we take San Juan Street to the right. Good signage tells us that in this direction we are on the route of the Camino de Santiago.
- We follow this street that becomes a track as we distance ourselves from the town. We travel 2 kilometers through crop areas, open and not very shady.
- 2.2 kilometers away we take a path on the right. This is a deviation that can go unnoticed: there is a small bollard on the Camino but it is not very visible.
- We enter a narrow and darker section, covered with trees and vegetation.
- In just over 500 meters we arrive at Santa María de Eunate.
- We return to Enériz along the same route in the opposite direction.
